03. Culture & Connection
Respect for nature: We stay on marked trails and leave no trace.
Conscious photography: Please ask before photographing people.
Some sites hold cultural, emotional, or sacred value.
Support the local economy: We collaborate with local producers, artisans, and small businesses.
Slow travel rhythm: We do not rush. We inhabit each moment.
04. What to Expect
This is not a conventional tourist trip: It is a journey of immersion in nature, science, and local culture.
Openness to learning: You will spend time with guides, researchers, and local communities.
Allow the journey to also happen within you.
05. Respect for Biodiversity & Biosecurity
La Palma is a living sanctuary of biodiversity, home to species found nowhere else on Earth. Your presence plays a role in protecting it.
Do not take or leave anything:
Do not collect stones, plants, shells, sand, or natural objects.
Do not leave food scraps or waste.
Avoid bringing seeds or soil from other regions.
Invasive Species Prevention:
Clean your footwear before and after hikes.
Check clothing and backpacks for attached seeds.
Do not transport plants between areas.
Nature is experienced in situ:
We observe, listen, feel.
We do not disturb, handle, or remove natural life, unless guided by our team.
We protect fragile habitats:
Keep distance in nesting, volcanic, and endemic plant areas.
Respect the silence of the forest and the rhythms of the landscape.
Remember: We are guests. Our intention is to honor, protect, and leave everything better than we found it.
